We produced the following #riskhappy original films in collaboration with students from the Pflugerville Elementary Tech Club, an after school program in the Austin area that introduces 4th and 5th grade kids to coding and video production. The program was created by Annalee Miller, a 4th Grade teacher at the school who took it upon herself to create a program she wish existed. We've been working closely with the program from the past few years and can say we've learned just as much from these remarkable and creative kids as they have from us. :)
GREAT PEOPLE DO THINGS BEFORE THEY'RE READY
Inspiration and the words for this project came from a video Amy Poehler released in 2013 for her Ask Amy series on Amy Poehler Smart Girls. In the video, Amy replies to a question about what it means to have courage and take risks.
RUNNING & READING - THE KEYS TO LIFE
Inspiration and words for this project came from an acceptance speech Will Smith gave in 2005 at the Nickelodeon Kids 'Choice Awards in Los Angeles.
YOU BECOME WHAT YOU LOOK FOR IN LIFE
A PSA from the students in the Pflugerville Elementary Tech Club in Pflugerville, Texas. Inspiration and words for this project came from a speech Roy Spence, co-founder of the GSD&M Advertising Agency, gave in 2011.
